The Perfectionism Paradox: How Letting Go Unlocks Your Potential

Women often feel the weight of impossibly high expectations—from society, from others, and most of all, from themselves. Whether it's striving to be the perfect professional, the perfect parent, the perfect partner, or the perfect version of themselves, perfectionism can silently create self-doubt, burnout, and hesitation in both personal and professional journeys. The truth? Perfectionism can be a roadblock that keeps you from stepping into you full potential with confidence and ease. When we hold ourselves to unattainable standards, we not only diminish our joy but also limit our ability to take risks, embrace new opportunities, and show up as our authentic selves. This empowering session is designed to help you recognize the Perfectionism Trap so you can lead your life with more confidence, clarity, and courage. Through personal reflection, and interactive exercises, you will walk away with practical tools to reframe your mindset, release self-imposed pressure, and step boldly into your personal and professional aspirations.

    Together, we’ll explore:

✅ How perfectionism manifests in different areas of life—and its hidden costs

✅ The Perfectionism Bottleneck—how striving for flawlessness slows progress and fuels self-doubt

✅ Practical strategies to shift from perfectionism to progress, allowing for growth, resilience, and self-trust

✅ How embracing imperfection leads to greater joy, confidence, and success

Whether you're navigating your career, relationships, motherhood, or personal growth, this session will give you the permission, mindset shifts, and actionable tools to move forward with confidence. Perfection isn’t the goal—progress, courage, and self-trust are. Join us to embrace a new way of leading your life—one where your worth isn’t measured by flawlessness, but by your willingness to show up as your whole, powerful, and imperfectly perfect self.

Our book will be SUMMER ISLAND:  A NOVEL by Kristin Hannah

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The renowned author of The Women presents a poignant, funny, luminous novel about a mother and daughter—the complex ties that bind them, the past that separates them, and the healing that comes with forgiveness.

“[Kristin] Hannah is superb at delving into the characters’ psyches and delineating nuances of feeling.”—Washington Post Book World

Years ago, Nora Bridge walked out on her marriage and left her daughters behind. She has since become a famous radio talk-show host and newspaper columnist beloved for her moral advice. Her youngest daughter, Ruby, is a struggling comedienne who uses her famous mother as fuel for her bitter, cynical humor. When the tabloids unearth a scandalous secret from Nora’s past, their estrangement suddenly becomes dramatic: Nora is injured in an accident and a glossy magazine offers Ruby a fortune to write a tell-all about her mother. Under false pretenses, Ruby returns home to take care of the woman she hasn't spoken to for almost a decade.

Nora insists they retreat to Summer Island in the San Juans, to the lovely old house on the water where Ruby grew up, a place filled with childhood memories of love and joy and belonging. There Ruby is also reunited with her first love and his brother. Once, the three of them had been best friends, inseparable. Until the summer that Nora had left and everyone's hearts had been broken. . . .

What began as an expose evolves, as Ruby writes, into an exploration of her family’s past. Nora is not the woman Ruby has hated all these years. Witty, wise, and vulnerable, she is desperate to reconcile with her daughter. As the magazine deadline draws near and Ruby finishes what has begun to seem to her an act of brutal betrayal, she is forced to grow up and at last to look at her mother—and herself—through the eyes of a woman. And she must, finally, allow herself to love.

Our book will be THE OLIGARCH'S DAUGHTER by Joseph FInder

"Any new novel by Joseph Finder is a ticket to reading pleasure, and this one is hands down his best ever."—Stephen King

"This is Finder at his finest—a perfect everyman-in-peril story, first building an ominous drumbeat of menace, then exploding in action and intrigue and triumph. As good as it gets."—Lee Child

From the New York Times bestselling author of House on Fire, a breakneck thriller that marries the dynastic opulence of Succession with the tense and disorienting spycraft of The Americans.

Paul Brightman is a man on the run, living under an assumed name in a small New England town with a million-dollar bounty on his head. When his security is breached, Paul is forced to flee into the New Hampshire wilderness to evade Russian operatives who can seemingly predict his every move.

Six years ago, Paul was a rising star on Wall Street who fell in love with a beautiful photographer named Tatyana—unaware that her father was a Russian oligarch and the object of considerable interest from several U.S. intelligence agencies. Now, to save his own life, Paul must unravel a decades-old conspiracy that extends to the highest reaches of the government.

Rivaling the classic spy novels of the Cold War, The Oligarch’s Daughter is built for the frightening world we live in now.
